2 Essential Steps To Lose Weight And Permanent Weight Loss
In the previous 2 posts I talked about cutting out sodas and other sugary drinks from your diet in order to lose weight and in the other post I talked about drinking more water throughout the day for appetite suppression and other reasons as well. With weight loss tips there are 2 essential steps that need to be covered in order to successfully lose weight.
First and foremost you have to consume fewer calories to lose weight. There’s no way around this… you don’t want to starve yourself but you do want to consume fewer calories then your body needs every day to maintain its weight. Replacing all of the soda and juice and other sugary drinks in your diet with water will dramatically cut down on the number of calories you consume. Drinking water is the fastest way I know of reducing the number of calories you consume but some of you may even need to take it a few steps further.
Junk food and deserts are notoriously high in calories and provide very little nutritional value making them the ideal candidates of food sources to cut out in your diet so you can lose weight. Whenever possible stay away from fast food joints and if you have to eat at one of those places (I know I have kids) make sure you do some research and find out what healthy alternatives they have as most places have at least a few now.
Once you reduce the number of calories you consume, you now have to focus on burning more calories then your body needs on a daily basis so you ca actually start to lose weight. You can accomplish this by exercising… it doesn’t have to be anything rigorous… you just want to be active 3-5 times a week for 30-60 minutes. Remember the key to losing weight is burning more calories then you consume so every little bit of exercise helps.
There you have it… that’s the easiest and fastest method for losing weight and those are without a doubt the 2 essential steps for permanent and consistent weight loss.
